Research Interest
Development and designing of targeted anti-cancer therapeutic strategies by pharmacological inhibition of aberrant metabolic pathways operating in tumor cells. Our research approaches include blocking of pH homeostasis, interference with carbohydrate metabolism and de novo fatty acid synthesis, which have produced promising results indicating the potential of these strategies in developing novel anti-tumor therapeutic regimens.
